Soccer is our "new" thing this Fall, Seth and Josh are playing AYSO for the first time. Seth is just getting a little practice before his first practice next week.

3 Years ago today I snapped this picture of the kids at Sleeping Bear Dunes not realizing it would become my favorite photo. One that is so full of beautiful memories. It was our first vacation as a family of 5 where we were all alone. We rented a small, very modern cottage a block off Lake MI in Empire-a surf community at the beginning of the Sleeping Bear Dunes shoreline. Ever since that year, we've visited the Dunes on the same week or weekend. It's a special place full of special memories. Seth was 5.5, Josh was 3.5 and Abby was 1.5.

Seth had a special overnight with his special Auntie Linds. He was treated to Crazy Bounce, Pizza, a late night of games, breakfast at Russ', Craigs Cruisers and pizza again! He was so happy!!

Today Seth learned how to swing on his own. A little late to the game, yes, but, he was as proud as I think I've ever seen him. I won't forget his sweet request to, "see something cool", I'm glad I chose to say, "sure".
