3 Years ago today I snapped this picture of the kids at Sleeping Bear Dunes not realizing it would become my favorite photo. One that is so full of beautiful memories. It was our first vacation as a family of 5 where we were all alone. We rented a small, very modern cottage a block off Lake MI in Empire-a surf community at the beginning of the Sleeping Bear Dunes shoreline. Ever since that year, we've visited the Dunes on the same week or weekend. It's a special place full of special memories. Seth was 5.5, Josh was 3.5 and Abby was 1.5.
